Rafael is a very hard-working and responsible person. He lives with his wife and three children in a neighborhood in Santa Cruz de Yojoa, Cortes. Rafael has been growing 'malangas' [a native tuber] for over 17 years. He has worked as a foreman on a farm for over three years.
Rafael is requesting the loan to buy supplies for his malanga crop. He hopes that by investing in his crop the harvest will be better quality. This way he will get better earnings.
Rafael’s dream is to be able to expand his crops. He has seen that this business is very profitable, and with his earnings he will be able to make improvements to his house.
