Raquelina's story

Raquelina is 27 years old and and has a ninth grade education. She is married and her husband is a bricklayer. From this relationship, Raquelina has 3 children. Two of them are in school. Raquelina lives with just her husband and her children, and they are her only dependents.

Raquelina has a shoe selling business across from the market. She has had this business for a year. A friend taught it to her. She travels 30 minutes in bus. However, today she has also opened a tortilla business on the main street that goes into town, and that is 5 minutes from where she lives.

She needs this loan to buy three bags of corn and firewood to make the tortillas. This way she can get the materials she needs to cover her customers' demand in her business.

Her dream is to be able to continue in her business. With God's blessing, it is going very well for her and this is the way to subsists to support her family.
