Restuta, who is in her early 40's, is married with three children who are still at school. She has been running a business of growing and selling vegetables for three years now. She works from 7 AM to 4 PM daily and is able to make a very good monthly profit.
This will be Restuta's second loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loan to buy an irrigation machine, manure, pesticide and vegetable seed. She has managed to pay back her loan successfully and is happy with the loan. She used the profit to pay school fees and covered household expenses.
She will use this loan to buy another irrigation machine and to buy seeds, manure, and pesticide for growing vegetables. She dreams of taking her kids to good schools.
Restuta will share this loan with her loan group "Hondogo Kibamba" which has three members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
