Ramonita's story

Ramonita is 57 years old and a widow with five children. She works hard to provide for her family. She runs a general store in the Philippines. Ramonita has been running the general store for 35 years and also earns income from coconut wine. Ramonita requested a 28,000 Philippine peso loan through Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation (NWTF) in order to buy more stock of groceries to sell.

Ramonita has borrowed and repaid 17 loans from NWTF before this loan. Ramonita aspires to build and expand her business to secure the future of her family.
