A loan helped a member to buy the orange harvest.

Nueva Vida Group's story

The Nueva Vida communal bank is made up of three enterprising women. María Rebeca is the coordinator. She is 32 years old, and she is in a relationship.

She has been selling fruits and vegetables in the municipal market for seven years. It is the nineteenth cycle in which ADIM is providing her with loans for her business. She has shown herself to be a responsible woman. The loan she is requesting is to buy the orange harvest. This is because it is one of the seasons when there is greater demand for this product.

With the previous loans she managed to improve herself financially because she has managed to buy in bulk and sell by the item. Therefore, her earnings have been greater.

Flor de Maria, 44 years old, is another member. She sells fruit on the streets in her area.

Maria Auxiliadora, age 30, for has been selling chickens in the León department for ten years.
