A loan helped to purchase five sacks of coconuts.

Flomena's story

Flomena is a married woman and they have eight children, of whom six attend school. They own a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.

For the past one year, she has operated a coconut-selling business, selling retail to local customers. Flomena cites high cost of transportation as her major challenge. She dreams of expanding and purchasing a motorcycle for distributing coconuts in the near future.

With the Kshs 30,000 she wants to purchase five sacks of coconuts. She decided to join Yehu to boost her business.
