Susan's story

Susan is gratetful that she was granted a 30,000 PHP loan which she used to purchase various grocery items and products needed in her general store. Through her earnings she is able to send her children to school and meet their daily living expense.

She would now like to apply for a 40,000 PHP loan which she will use to buy more quantities of grocery items like rice, coffee, soda, rice noodles, and frozen foods which she sells at retail. She knows that more items in her store will yield more sales and thus increase her earnings. Her income from her store is a stable source to sustain her family's basic needs and for the education of her children. She is thanking God and you in advance for a good return on her investment and the financial help that will be given her.

Susan dreams of having a grocery store and aims to give her three children the best education possible for them to have a better future. Every week, she meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work and to draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God, which she studies.

*All Center for Community Transformation (CCT) community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay Micro-Finance loans.
