A loan helped to buy assorted goods for stocking her sari-sari (variety) store business to meet the demands of the customers.


Cherry's story

Cherry, 52 years old, lives in Binuangan, Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental with her husband and two children. She has found ways to attain income through snack & food vending.

She joined Paglaum Cooperative, which helped her in the capitalization of her sari-sari (small grocery) store in March of 2006. She became a micro-finance member and has received loans several times already.

Now, she is applying for 14,900PHP to buy assorted goods for stocking her store. She hopes that her business will continue and someday become a mini-grocery.
