A loan helped to buy goats.

Annah's story

Annah is a hard-working lady from Biafra cell, Mbarara district. She is married and has two children. She also has three more children under her care who she provides an education for. Personally, she never studied and she has been struggling in small businesses to earn a living, given that she is almost the sole bread winner.

She is also a farmer who depends a lot on growing matooke (a type of banana) and rearing goats. She has a number of challenges that include poor climatic conditions, bad weather, and high competition in the market.

She came to Ugafode Mbarara branch for a loan of 2,000,000 UGX, which she intends to use to buy more goats for fattening and selling. She is really shrewd at the business, and she is optimistic that her business will improve with the financial boost.
