A loan helped to buy more animals to diversify and increase her stock.

Lucelina's story

Lucelina is 46 years old and a single mother to two children. She lives with her family in a rural area in the Oyotún district, a province of Chiclayo located in the Lambayeque region on the north coast of Peru. Her community mainly works in farming, cattle and business.

Lucelina raises and sells animals such as roosters, hens, chickens, etc. She has 15 years of experience in this business, which she runs from the back of her house.

Lucelina is applying for a loan to buy more animals so she can diversify and increase her stock. This investment will help her to have a greater variety and productivity in her animals which will make a big impact on her business.

Lucelina would like to increase her stock of animals so that she can cater to the different tastes and needs of the customers in her area. This will allow her to increase her income in a short time period, better her earnings and in the end improve her and her children's quality of life.
