A loan helped to buy clothing and footwear for her business.

Memory's story

Greetings from Bulawayo, the second largest city in Zimbabwe. Memory is 31 years old, and married with four children all of whom are attending school. For the last five years she has run a retail shop selling clothing and footwear. Her main challenge has been high import duty and stiff competition from other players in the market. Memory has requested a $750 USD loan to buy clothing and footwear. She says the profits realized as a result of this loan, will assist in paying school fees for her children. In the future, Memory plans on running a few more such shops.
