Emelia's story

Emelia is 52 years old and married, with four children.

Emelia works hard to provide for her family. She runs a general store in the Philippines and she has requested a PHP 10,000 loan through Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. (NWTF) to buy additional stocks to sell, like snack foods, dried fish, sugar, rice, soft drinks, and beer.

Emelia has borrowed and paid nine loans from NWTF before this loan. She has been running the general store for six years and also earns an income from pig-fattening.

Emelia aspires to build and expand her business to secure the future of her family.
