Yesu Tease Group's story

The group Yesu Tease is composed of seven women, who average 34 years of age and four children each. They all live in traditional families in Dansoman-Accra. The women know one another through ties of kinship, community, and friendship. They do commerce in second hand clothing, cold store, food stuff, slippers, jewelry and ladies tops.

The women of the group Yesu Tease are on their first loan. To meet the enormous demand from their customers, they turn to the micro finance institution ID-Ghana. These funds will be used to purchase their merchandise as cited above.

This client, Vivian, is the second person sanding at the left. She is currently selling slippers. She intends to purchase slippers from the market and sell them to customers. Sales are made retail to a mixed customer base in Accra. She plans on making good profit from this loan that will be used to cover the family's day-to-day expenses and she plans to save part.
