Pheap is 42 years old, married, and she has four children. She lives in a rural village of the Moung Russey district of Battambang province. To make a living, she has been in farming rice and fishing. Having been in this business for 15 years, she can earn about 25,000 KHR per day to support her family’s need. Pheap’s group consists of three members who are all female. She has been with VisionFund for three cycles. Now, she is leading her group to ask for a loan. Pheap will use her portion to buy fertilizer and seeds for her farmland, and use a portion of it to spend on labor. She hopes to increase her crop yields, and earn more income to improve her standard of living.
