A loan helped to pay for five calves.

Anjela's story

Anjela is a mother of three school-aged children; they are 15, 13 and 12 years old. She lives with her children, husband and mother-in-law in Tegh village. Anjela and her husband have been involved in agriculture for seven years. They own 20 cows and 10 calves. Anjela uses the milk for cheese production and her husband sells it at local markets. The income from agriculture is vital to the family, so Anjela would like to increase the size of her livestock. She is requesting a loan of USD1,500 to purchase five more calves. She hopes for lenders' support and goodwill.
