A loan helped to buy footwear wholesale.

María Ester's story

Maria, at 62 years old, is a charismatic, active, and helpful woman. Being the mother of two children was her principal motive for fighting tirelessly day after day, looking for ways to earn a living and provide for them. Approximately 20 years ago she began selling footwear for all kinds of customers at excellent prices and good quality, which allowed her to become well-known in the area, and to attain the career that she has. This inspired her to request the support of a loan to boost her inventory, with which she will buy footwear wholesale so she can meet the demand that increases during the school year. Maria has the advantage of living in an area with an abundance of students, and this will help her increase the income she earns for her work.

Maria says that her age does not stand in the way of continuing to do what she is passionate about, for which she is always thinking of new goals. One is to become a large distributor of footwear and be able to offer employment opportunities. That way she can improve the quality of life and well-being both of her family and the people who help her do her daily work.
