Mohamed's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 25-year-old Mohamed from Waterloo, the western rural area in Freetown. He is married with two children between the ages of 1 year and 3 years. He was a student, he began this business to create a permanent source of income.

Mohamed runs a building material business within a busy market area. He has been running this business since 2009. Mohamed works at the business from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm, 6 days per week. Mohemed says that the main challenge to his business is slow purchasing power during rainy season.

Mohamed has requested a loan in order to purchase cement, zinc, nails and paint for resale. The extra income from this loan will allow him to increase his business and take care of his family welfare. In the future, he plans to become a distributor. He thanks you for your support!
