A loan helped to buy products for home consumption, clothing, shoes and perishable products.

Gerardo Antonio's story

Gerardo Antonio is an adult, is in a committed relationship, and is from the city of Chinandega, located in the western part of the country. He is the owner of a small grocery store located in his house, where he offers products for home consumption such as basic grains, candy, detergents, frozen products, clothing, chinoiserie and sandals. On weekends he also makes delicious soups, like chicken with meatballs, beef with crabs and tripe stew. He makes his purchases at markets in the city and from distributor trucks.

Gerardo has both established and new customers to whom he sells a small amount on credit, which customers repay weekly or biweekly. He started his business at a very young age, seeking a better standard of living to help with his family's expenses. One of his dreams is to be able to improve his business and his home.

The objective of this loan is to obtain working capital in the purchase of products for consumption as well as perishable products to make his delicious and scrumptious soups.
