Be Honest Ii Group's story

In the photo are members of the “Be Honest II” group. They are small-scale business people based in Waterloo, a town in western Sierra Leone.

They are requesting a loan of SLL 1,200,000 for each member in the group. With this loan, they will be able to expand their businesses, make more profit, and consequently improve on their standard of living.

The featured leader of this group is Fatu. Fatu is 50 years old. She was born in Lunsar town, but she is currently residing in Waterloo, together with her husband and three children. Her husband is a businessman, and her children are attending primary and secondary school.

For seven years now, Fatu has been selling building materials. With this loan, she will buy a large quantity of building materials to add to her business.
