A loan helped to purchase sacks of green vegetables, tomatoes and onions for resale.

Christine's story

Christine is married and has three children. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is school fees for the family.

For the past two years, she has operated a green grocery selling business. She sells to her neighbours and passersby. Her major challenge is seasonality of products, hence reducing the sales.

With the 25,000 Kenyan shillings, she wants to purchase sacks of green vegetables, tomatoes and onions for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business and improve her living standards.
