Eduviges is 50 years old. She is married and lives with her husband and three children. She intends to use the loan to purchase supplies such as organic fertilizer and fumigants and in turn, to help pay for labor. She plans to maintain the plantations so that they don’t suffer any damage and she doesn’t lose production and thus, with this coffee-growing plan, be able to generate more profits to support her family. She doesn’t have the necessary capital for such a purpose, or for such contracts, as she has limited resources and doesn’t have any means to acquire the money needed for this. So, she is requesting a loan, the first she has received from Fudescor. She hasn’t had any other loans through state banks, but Fudescor has offered her the loan with an easier payment process and a much lower interest rate.
