Momoh's story

Pictured here is Momoh, a staff member in one of the sugar-producing companies in Sierra Leone. He has served the sugar company for nine years. A native of Magbass village, the 37-year-old man is married to a businesswoman, and the couple has five children, three of whom are attending primary school. Another child is in secondary school.

In addition to his work at the sugar company, Momoh also makes and sells gara cloth (locally dyed cloth). He has been doing business in cloth for five years, now. He has requested this loan in order to produce more gara cloth, to add to his current stock.
