A loan helped to buy cereals.

Aminata's story

Madam Aminata was born in 1966 in Niena where she lives in a traditional family with her spouse (third administrative region of the republic of Mali).

She has been managing businesses buying and selling cereals for about 10 years. Her experience in this domain has brought her a good reputation and she receives orders from a variety of customers. Thus to have the resources necessary to satisfy her customers, she decided to collaborate with the Microfinance Institution Soro Yiriwaso, with whom she has already had 4 loans all repaid.

This new loan will allow her to buy 2 tons and a half of corn. She gets her supplies in Niena from the producers and in the surrounding villages. Her sales are made in the village of Niena. Her clientele consists mostly of men.

With this loan, she envisions making an average monthly profit of 45,000 FCFA per month. This profit will allow her to meet the financial obligations of her loan and to invest the rest in her business.

She plans to become a wholesaler with a good reputation.
