A loan helped to purchase sheep.

Toji's story

Toji is a middle-aged man who is now 52 years old. He is married, has one child, and lives in a rural setting. His wife takes care of the household. He has been buying and selling small livestock for more than 20 years and knows all aspects of this business very well.

Toji also grows vegetables such as potatoes, carrots and onions for the family's own consumption. He gets everything he needs from his own garden and does not need to buy produce at the market.

Toji's only source of income is his animal husbandry business, and his earnings from this business are not bad.

Toji is planning to buy a few sheep. He will fatten them before the spring and then resell them for a profit. He is relying on Kiva's understanding and financial support and thanks this organization in advance.
