A loan helped to purchase construction materials to build his own home.

Enkh-Ochir's story

Mr. Enkh-ochir is 49 years old and lives with his wife and son in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The family resides in a Mongolian traditional ger (portable felt dwelling) on a plot of land. His wife has the position of manager at a private business entity. His son is a monk and after studying Buddhism in India, came back to Mongolia so that he can teach at the school of religion. Enkh-ochir has been working as a serviceman at the police auto service department for five consequent years. Before working at the police auto service department, he worked at other auto service centers in Ulaanbaatar. During his free time, using his vast amount of experience in auto service, he renders auto service to local people. During this time of year, construction materials are at its cheapest price so he is requesting a loan of 1000000 MNT to buy them. Using the construction materials, he wants to build his own house, which is way better than living in a ger, in many ways such as comfort, warmth and space.
