Mt. Livingston Group's story

Rehema is in her mid 40s, married and the mother of three children, all of whom attend school. For the last six years, she has earned a living by selling food. She works from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily and earns a small monthly profit. Rehema is requesting her second loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used her previous loan to restock her store and pay school fees and household expenses. She repaid the loan successfully and is applying for a new one to buy more food to sell to her customers. Her dream is to one day be able to build her own house. She will share this loan with her group, "Mt. Livingston," which 15 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back this loan.
