La Misericordia Group's story

Mercy is a group formed by 8 people and is located in the Acatlán de Pérez Figueroa municipal. It is frequented by people from nearby communities and there is lots of commerce in the main streets.
Mrs. Rosa María is 54 years old, studied until high school, was a single mom, and at the moment lives alone since her children have gotten married.
Mrs. Rosa María is a very hard-working woman who helped her children succeed. She tells us that 20 years ago she had the opportunity to start her own business by selling gifts in the central part of the community next to the park. She named her store “Rivera Novelties.” She opens her store every day very early in the morning because she believed that the key to success is in the old saying, “he who rises early God shall help.”
Mrs. Rosa María has the most stocked store in the community and takes the opportunity of selling seasonal products during the holidays. For example, on Mother's Day she will sell dinnerware, flowers, home decor, and on children’s day she sells a large variety of toys. She never lets an opportunity go to waste to stock up on more merchandise and sell.
Mrs. Rosa María needs to buy perfumes, jewelry, toys, picture frames, handbags, cosmetics, and gift bags to sell in her novelty store to increase income.
She wants her business to continue growing for a better life.
