A loan helped to buy fertilizer and seeds and to pay for the costs of preparing the soil and planting 28,000 square meters of corn.


Félix Arnoldo's story

Félix is 23 years old. His is married and has a son. He has worked in agriculture since he was very young. It was his parents who taught him.

To buy his agricultural materials, he has to acquire them in a place that is five kilometers from his house. This trip costs a lot because transportation is expensive.

He is asking for a loan from Fundación Campo to buy fertilizer, seeds and to pay the costs of preparing the soil and plant 28,000 square meters of corn. He will also buy 100 chickens to raise and sell when they are ready. He wants to do his agricultural work to take advantage of the rainy season. He says that if he gets good results with the harvest he will have money for the coming months and corn for feed. In addition, he wants to offer his chlildren a good future and build a better house.
