A loan helped buy more animals and make repairs to her corral.

Maria Concepcion's story

María is 30 years old and lives with her husband and children in her own house, which only has the service of electricity. It is located in the district of Mórrope, which can be found 40 minutes from the department of Lambayeque. This zone is dedicated to activities related to farming, livestock and tourism (they have beautiful religious festivals).

María has been a livestock merchant for many years (cows). Her corral is located outside her house, and she gives them balanced feed and natural grasses so they will grow optimally. She offers them throughout the various markets in the zone, and that is how she generates good profits to meet the household expenses.

She has requested a loan of 4000 new Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternative to buy more animals and make repairs to her corral. The end result hopefully being that, with the earnings she obtains, she will be able to provide a higher standard of living for her family. María is a very responsible and hard-working woman who worries about improving her business and continuing to meet the family’s needs. She wants to give her children other opportunities in life.
