A loan helped to pay for his daughters' education.

Jivan's story

Jivan was born in 1961 in the town of Kajaran. After graduating from Kapan high school, he enrolled in the Kapan branch of the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute, where he received a degree as an engineer-miner.
Jivan is married and has four children: three daughters and a son. His daughters are university students and his son attends Kapan high school. His wife is a homemaker.
Jivan's first and third daughters are in Medical School at Yerevan Medical University: his oldest daughter is in her third year and his youngest is in her second year. Annual tuition costs for each one of his daughters amount to 800,000 dram. Jivan's second daughter is in her second year at the Kapan branch of Yerevan Polytechnic University. Her tuition costs are 300,000 dram per year.

Jivan has been involved in business since 1997 and manufactures bodies for trucks. He owns his equipment: a lifting crane, loading machine, truck... He takes orders from individuals and companies. His business helps him provide for his large family and allows him to pay tuition for his three daughters. He has already paid tuition for his middle daughter's second semester and has saved 200,000 dram to pay for the second semester of tuition for his daughters in Medical School. However, he is lacking 600,000 dram to finish paying their tuition, and this is why he is requesting a loan in this amount.
