A loan helped to purchase shoes to sell.

Aquiles Francisco's story

Aquiles, 37 years old, was born in Jinotega and is a merchant. He sells clothing and shoes. His first Kiva loan went very well and he is grateful for the help and confidence he received upon being granted the loan. He used it to buy shoes and supply his store with new styles, and sales were good. But he continues his struggle to install a small pharmacy and launch his career as a pharmacist. To do this, he will need sufficient savings to start out and he wants to improve the income he generates selling shoes. For that reason Aquiles is requesting a 2nd loan to buy additional shoes to sell.
