Magicas Group's story

This group’s name is “Magicas” (The Magic Ladies), and it is located in the state of Morelos, a community famous for its inhabitants mainly engaging in growing onions. This group is composed of 8 members, engaged in selling stationery. Maria is one of the members, and she is the group’s treasurer. She is requesting a loan to invest it in her stationary’s shop by buying items such as notebooks, pens, paper and so on. She has been running her stationary’s shop for 7 years and she has gained many customers, who choose her for the variety of items she sells. She said she has improved the economic standard of her family. One of her dreams is for her daughters, aged 20, 14 and 6, to have a job in the future and the chance to enjoy a better standard of living; she also wants to support her husband, who is currently working for a construction company.
