Adjoa's story

A married woman, Adjoa is the mother of two children who are both in school. She rents a place with her husband and children. She helps with the various household expenses. Priviledged with at least eight years of experience, Adjoa sells cosmetics, such as straighteners, body and hair ointments, gels, perfumes, soaps, lotions, and more. Her store is located at Tokpa in a very favorable area for her business. Her customer base is composed of small-scale retailers and individuals.

Our client is supplied locally from Tokpa, the international market of Benin, and from Togo or Nigeria, two countries bordering Benin. Facing the growing demand from her customers, she decided to enter into partnership with FINADEV, where she obtained financial aid for increasing store traffic. Adjoa is counting on the extra revenues to clear this loan in order to cope with her family responsibilities and to resolve her personal needs. She is diversifying her business to face the competition in a suitable manner.
