I grew up in a small town in southern Ohio and come from a close-knit faith-based family and community. After graduating high school and some college, I joined the Army, and my military service developed my determination, initiative, and perseverance. I was stationed at Fort Carson, Co, far from my family and friends, whom I missed dearly.
The inspiration for Love You Miss You evolved from a couple of friends, and I am ending our text messages with "lymy." With our everyday lives so busy, we often send this to one another as we don't have time to reach out to let loved ones know how much we love and miss them. Being an entrepreneur at heart, I thought this would be the perfect way for all walks of life to spread love on a grand scale. So I started Love You Miss You as a way for people to express this sentiment.
Early in the stages of the company, I had to endure my Mother's passing to breast cancer, which inspired the Charity Series of Love You Miss You. I continued to put my energy into the company while balancing a full-time job and being a Dad, and then the pandemic brought us to a standstill. Losing Loved ones unexpectedly and families being isolated from each other, I became more confident than ever in the vision and mission of Love You, Miss You. If it's impossible to make a family gathering or want to Represent where you are from, send them a LY❤️MY Shirt. I hope that one day Love You Miss You Inc. will be a global brand that provides people with the opportunity to spread love all around the world.

Love You Miss You Inc. is an apparel and gift company with the mission of spreading love and connecting with various organizations around the world by providing our customers with a variety of shirts, mugs, keychains, and other gift ideas that let their loved ones know that they “love them and miss them.” Our product logo, LY MY, can be personalized with the state, city, country, charity, military branch, or picture of a loved one (in the center of the heart) that customers want to represent or show love and support for.
Love You Miss You Inc. is a Columbus, Ohio-based business that operates primarily online. We had the opportunity to partner with Celebrate Local at the Easton Town Center in June 2022 and just marked one year of sales in a physical location. This spring, Destiny Church International featured our Breast Cancer charity series shirts for the annual Susan G. Komen Race for The Cure Cancer Walk, and in June, we were invited to participate in a small business networking and sales event with JP Morgan Chase Bank in Polaris. These events gave our company exposure, a chance to interact with fellow business owners and customers and receive public feedback about Love You Miss You.
The impact of our latest events has magnified our exposure and increased sales online and in the store. Moving forward, while we will continue to build and collaborate with local businesses, our immediate focus is acquiring capital and inventory to accommodate our future business venture with the airport gift shops. With the help and resources provided by KIVA and the KIVA Family, we can overcome some of the challenges we face in becoming a global brand.

What is the purpose of this loan?
This loan will help increase our inventory at Love You Miss You Inc to offer a wider variety of apparel and other gift merchandise, such as mugs, keychains, and magnets, to meet the demands of our customers and take advantage of recent business opportunities with the Columbus airport gift shops. This loan will also be used to implement a marketing plan to include social media content management, television and radio advertisement, and local promotional events.
Additionally, we would like to employ a dedicated graphic engineer to manage our product designs. This will include the necessary digital graphics programs and hours spent creating our designs. Our future goal is to have our staff trained in graphic design and acquire the capital to purchase printing equipment that will allow us to manufacture our products without outsourcing.

What does "Partner covers currency loss" mean & how could it affect my Kiva loans?
Potential for currency exchange loss is noted on every loan profile under the loan details:
"Yes" means the Lending Partner will cover any currency loss. Lenders will not bear losses due to currency fluctuation
"Partial" means that the Lending Partner has opted to cover losses only up to 10%. If the U.S. dollar appreciates more than 10% against the local currency, those losses will be passed onto lenders.
"No" means that the Lending Partner is not covering any currency losses and all losses will be passed onto lenders.
"N/A" means the Lending Partner disburses loans to borrowers in USD so their loans are not subject to any currency fluctuation.
Do Kiva borrowers pay any interest on their loans?
Our partners collect interest from borrowers because there are many operational expenses associated with microfinance in developing markets, especially in rural areas. Many of Kiva's Lending Partners also provide additional services alongside their loan products such as business training, financial literacy lessons, or health services.
Kiva will not partner with an organization that charges unreasonable interest rates, and we require Lending Partners to fully disclose their rates. In addition, we only partner with microfinance institutions and organizations that have a social mission to serve the poor, unbanked, and underserved.
