Jargal's story

Jargal S. is 28 years old and lives with her husband and daughter in Hovd province in western Mongolia. She and her family live in a ger, a traditional Mongolian nomadic housing tent. Her daughter attends a local school. Her husband operates a transportation business between local towns using his own minibus. Jargal manages a clothing business in her town. She has been selling a variety of clothing items at the local market since 2006 and has gained significant experience in her trade. She plans to buy a container at the local market and a new minibus for her husband. For the future, Jargal hopes to continue to grow her business and says, "My business goal is to buy a minibus for my husband in the near future." Jargal is a hardworking and optimistic woman. She is requesting a 1,300,000 MNT loan to purchase more winter clothes in order to expand her business.
