Mujeres Emprendedoras De Micaela Bastida Group's story

This communal bank is called "Mujeres Emprendedoras D. Micaela Bastida" - or Micaela Bastida's Enterprising Women. The group is composed of 10 determined women with good ideas for their existing businesses.

One of the members is Diana L., who has a personal history of progress and success. Diana is 45 years old, and the single mother of a son. She has been able to bring him up thanks to a small and very profitable photocopying business she set up 10 years ago in her home neighbourhood, where there wasn't any comparable service. With the profits from the business she has been able to give her son a good upbringing and bring a stable income into her home. With the loan she is planning to invest in implements for the photocopying machines.

Like Diana L., each member of the group has her own story, but what they have in common is in their determination, in the face of whatever life throws at them, to fight for the wellbeing of their families and improve their economic situations.

In this group: Diana Lourdes, Reyna, Luis Valentin, Silvia Melania, Olga, Lucila, Lili, Tereza, Dorotea
