Rahat successfully repaid all her earlier loans and is very grateful to Kiva and to everyone who helped her with financing. Rahat is 50 years old, unmarried and has one son. She has a high school education and is very hardworking and cheerful by nature. Rahat works at the Delfin guest house as a gardener and in agriculture since 2006.
Rahat currently has 9 cows, 12 sheep and a garden plot from which she harvests apples and apricots. To further develop her business, Rahat has again turned to Bai-Tushum Bank for a loan in the amount of 130,000 som (KGS) to buy cattle to increase her income from raising livestock. With the income from the loan, Rahat plans to invest in further developing her farm.
