A loan helped to buy household products.

Victoria's story

Victoria is 28 years old. She lives with her husband who is a truck driver. They have three children, two of whom are still studying. Victoria started her business in 2008 when she received her first group loan. Her dream was to have a business selling traditional clothing. The place where she lives is very busy with people and so she managed it. She now has her business but she also sees possibilities to keep growing. She would like to sell household products, footwear and sandals and have more variety in her ladies' and children's clothing.

At weekends she also sells tamales. She has repeat customers because she serves them well and with kindness. She is grateful because now she can help her husband to cover their household expenses. Her dream is to continue growing as a person and saleswoman. She would also like to continue supporting her children in their education.
