Kawral Ngocky Group's story

The Kawral Ngocky group, which means "harmony", was created in 2017. It is made up of 18 women. Their main businesses are raising animals and farming.

Adama, the president of this group is holding the ewe by a cord with her hand raised. She is married and is the mother of six dependent children. Five are boys, one is a girl aged between 1 and 17 years old. Four of them go to school. She is 36 years old and earns a living raising and selling small ruminants. She has 12 years experience in this field.

With her loan she will buy 3 goats and 2 sheep that she will resell at the lend of this cycle. With her earnings she can strengthen her business and help her husband with the day-to-day expenses, health care and education of her children.
