Shairgul's Group's story

Shairgul S. is the leader of the group. She is 55 and divorced. She has a 14-year-old daughter who is in school. Five years ago, with the initial investment of 3,000 soms, Shairgul started to breed cattle. She resells cattle at a higher price after fattening them. In this way, she makes 12,000 soms per month. She hopes to obtain the loan because she needs the money to purchase two bulls for breeding.

Nazgul K. is the treasurer of the group. She is 34 and married. She has two daughters and a son. The daughters are in school and the son is not yet. In order to make money, Nazgul sells ropes and lassos at the market and her husband works in construction. With money received from the loan, she wants to purchase more ropes and lassos in order to increase the turnover of her business. In the future, she wants to open her own store.

Anvar I., 37, is married. He has a newborn son. Anvar sells fruits and vegetables at the market. In this way, he makes 15,000 soms per month. With money received from the loan, he wants to purchase fruits in order to increase the turnover of his business. With part of the loan, he will purchase cattle for breeding.

Mirlan A. is 25 years old. He is a private driver. He hopes to obtain the loan because he needs money to purchase auto parts and repair his vehicle. In the future, he wants to get married and start his own business.
