Previously, she owned a ladies' salon. She now owns a stall selling bananas in Kalerwe market. She buys bananas from the villages of Masaka District and uses public transport to buy bananas once a week. She doesn’t have any other side job. She sells to all kinds of people, both retail and wholesale. Justine works six days a week.

Her business challenges are transportation and seasonality. She aspires to being able to buy a plot of land. Justine decided to join MCDT, because of their timely loans and also services that are nearby. She resides in and rents a two-room house and the family has access to electricity, but not to piped water. Her monthly expenses are rent, medication, and school fees.
