Rosita M. is from the village of Tipan Oroq. City Misamis Occidental. She is 67 years old. Rosita is the group leader of a 4-member group loan offered by GDMPC. While the members of the group each receive an individual loan, they are all collectively responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members if someone is delinquent or defaults.

Rosita is married and has five adult-aged children. To make a living, Rosita owns and operates a business selling charcoal in the local community. Rosita has been engaged in her business for over five years and earns approximately 2,500 PHP a month from these activities.

In 2008, Rosita joined GDMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Rosita has successfully repaid a previous loan of 6,000 PHP from GDMPC. Rosita is requesting a new loan of 5,000 PHP which will be used to buy more charcoal. This will be Rosita's third loan from GDMPC. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to help meet the daily needs of her family.
