A loan helped to buy livestock to increase her income from livestock farming.

Zulfiya's story

Zulfiya has successfully repaid her loan and is grateful to Kiva and to everyone who helped her financially. Today her farm has five cows, ten sheep, and two horses. Her farm also has 1.05 hectares of irrigated land on which she is growing organic beans. With the goal of further developing her business, she has once more turned to the bank Bai Tushum for a loan in the amount of 120,000 Kyrgyzstani som for purchasing livestock. Her goal is to increase her profits from raising livestock. The income from the loan will help Zulfiya increase her family's material wealth and give her children a quality education.
