Tiessiri 1 Group's story

Tiessiri 1 is a group of married women from the village of Nitolosso in San prefecture, Ségou region (fourth administrative region of the Republic of Mali). They live in traditional extended families. On average, they are 30 and have four children, and they grow peanuts.
Looking to make their farming more profitable, the members of the group decided to join the loan institution Soro Yiriwaso three years ago. After paying off previous loans, they are now asking for their third seasonal loan,
