Henrique Paulo M. was born in the District of Macia, Gaza Province, in southern Mozambique. He is married and the father of 3 children ages 12, 8, and 2. The two older children attend school. He attends classes at the Teachers University. He lives in his own home and does not support anyone other than his family.
He left Gaza for Maputo in search of work. Later, he decided to establish residence there and start a family. He has been working as a teacher for more than 8 years, and is part of the Ministry of Education. He has a monthly salary of 4.500.00mt, which he uses for household expenses and saves a bit in his bank account.
He has never had a loan in other banks. He learned about Hluvuku through colleagues who are also clients of this institution. This is his first loan, in the amount of 16,500.00mt, which he plans to use to purchase construction material (cement, zinc panels, etc.) to continue construction of his home.
