A loan helped to buy jeans, shirts, shorts, sandals, hats, etc.

Genesis Marisol's story

Genesis Marisol is single, doesn't have any children, and lives in her parents' home. They live in Portoviejo, a city affected by the April 16, 2016 earthquake, and now with the Covid-19 pandemic. The city has rich production of vegetables, legumes and tropical fruit for domestic consumption.

Genesis Marisol, with her mother, works selling a variety of clothing for women, men and children, which her family sends to her from the Unites States. They also offer their products via internet to their social network through WhatsApp, and their customers buy product on credit which she charges them weekly.

They work everyday. During this global crisis they have had economic difficulties, and their clients are unable to pay because they have been left unemployed or have passed away. In the beginning, the health crisis was very bad because they weren't able to sell, but now little by little they are restarting so that they can continue generating an income.

With this loan, she will buy jeans, shirts, shorts, sandals, hats, etc. Her dream is to have her own vehicle to be able to move merchandise, and to do home deliveries herself.
