Douglas's story

Douglas is a 28-year-old man. He runs a kinyozi (barber shop) and salon in Nairobi. He is requesting a loan of 50,000 KES to buy two dryer machines, two blow driers and a manicure machine. Douglas serves the low-income earners from the Mukuru slums and describes his business as busy. A humble, honest and goal-oriented man, Douglas hopes to own a chain of beauty shops, buy a piece of land, build both commercial and residential houses, and educate his children.
