Thirteen people who live in Stueng Chrov village in Kandal province are asking for a village bank loan. Mrs. Chantha T. is the group leader, selected by all the members. Each member will use a loan for different purposes to improve their businesses in the future. Mrs. Chantha T. sells vegetables and fish in a local market. Her husband, Mr. Saret Ven, is a construction worker. Since her business is going well, she wants to expand it. To improve her business, Mrs. Chantha T. is applying for a loan to buy more fish and morning glory to resell. She is a mother of four children, one of whom is enrolled in local public school. The others are too young to work or study.
