A loan helped purchase merchandise to expand the inventory of her store.

Olinda's story

Olinda is 32 years old and lives in her own home with her husband Robert (age 34) and their five young children. Seven years ago, she opened a store in her home where sells groceries. Olinda recognized that this type of business did not exist in the area where she lives. Therefore, she started her business and over time stocked her store with all types of products. She enjoys managing her store because it is in her home and allows her to look after her children since they are still small. Olinda is not able to work outside of the home and leave them alone. Her business generates good revenue because she does not have competition.

At the same time, Olinda sells beauty products of a well-known brand and takes advantages of promotions whenever they are made available. These products are kept in a special display case in her shop. Being a hardworking woman, Olinda always plans for the future. She wants to expand her store and improve the facilities so that she can offer better service.

This is her third loan with MFP. She is extremely grateful to everyone who made this loan possible so that she can continue to work and make progress. Olinda says the work of her Communal Bank is going very well and all the members are honest. She plans to invest the money she requested in the purchase of a large quantity of merchandise so that she can increase the inventory of her store and continue offering the best products to her regular customers.
