Itojo Twimukye Group, Ntungamo's story

Lydia K. is 43 years old and the leader of her lending group in Ntungamo. She is a hard working lady. She is married and has five children, ages 22 – 15 years. She also cares for 2 dependents.

Lydia has been selling clothes at the Itojo Trading Centre for 10 years. She is able to make 200,000/= (Ugandan shillings) in profits from her business each week, despite the challenge of having limited capital to acquire more clothes to sell. However, with the help of loans, she is able to have a wide variety of clothes, enabling her customers to have a choice.

Lydia hopes to make more wholesale purchases and have better health for her children and sustainability. She needs a loan to be able to purchase more clothing to sell.
